Standard Raw Score Calculation Formula
Raw Marks = (Total Correct Answers × Positive Marks) − (Total Incorrect Answers × Negative Penalty)
Example: In an exam of 100 questions (1 mark each, 0.25 negative marking): If you attempted 80 questions with 64 correct and 16 incorrect:
Raw Score = (64 × 1) − (16 × 0.25) = 64 − 4 = 60.00 Marks.
How to Submit Online Objections Against Question Papers
- Log in to the official examination objection module using your Roll Number and Password / Date of Birth.
- Open your recorded response sheet alongside the provisional master answer key.
- Note down the Question ID and Option ID where you believe the official key has an error.
- Select the reason for challenge (e.g. Translation Error, Multiple Correct Options, No Option Correct).
- Upload documentary evidence (scanned pages from authentic NCERT or university standard textbooks).
- Pay the required fee per question through the online payment gateway and retain the transaction receipt.
